Students who are members of The Burnett Honors College are eligible to receive funding for research-related travel. In order to apply for funding from our College, students must be active University Honors or Honors in the Major students in good standing. Students must also have been accepted to present at a conference in order to apply. The amount of the travel award will depend on the location, fees, and projected travel expenses.
Prior to turning in The Burnett Honors College Travel Award Form, students must first seek funding from both the Student Government Association (Student Union, room 210) and the Office of Undergraduate Research (Computer Center II, room 209). Once funding has been appropriated from these sources, The Burnett Honors College will also distribute a monetary amount. Students may only be awarded travel funding once every academic year.
